This series is your weekly gut-check. Your compass calibration. Every post is made for high schoolers, college students, and 20-somethings who are sick of the lies, hungry for purpose, and ready to get real about life — from faith and freedom to finances and legacy.
🔥 AGID 1’s ORIGIN STORY: FORGED IN THE FURNACE
I wasn’t born with a silver spoon or a golden parachute. I was born into chaos and confusion, just like a lot of you.
I fought battles — some overseas, most inside my own mind. I made dumb decisions because I followed feelings instead of direction. I chased girls, parties, fast money, fast cars, fake status… and ended up empty, broke, and alone.
But there was one turning point. I stopped living by the clock and started living by the compass.
I got in the Word. I got serious about my values. I started looking beyond the moment and asking: “Where does this road take me if I keep going?”
That question changed everything.
🧭 YOUR MOMENT VS. YOUR DIRECTION
Right now you’re probably facing a decision that feels big:
- Should I quit my job?
- Should I text that person again?
- Should I take that loan?
- Should I post that thing?
- Should I stay in that relationship?
- Should I drop out? Transfer? Run away?
What’s one decision you’re facing right now that you KNOW could go wrong if you only focus on the moment?
🏕️ THE COMPASS NEVER CHANGES
Your compass is made of 3 things:
- Faith – What does God say about this path?
- Values – Does this align with what I want long-term?
- Legacy – Will I be proud of this 5 years from now?
💥 THE POWER OF LONG-TERM THINKING
The enemy wants you to live short-term. To focus on likes, lust, money, and quick wins. But you’re not a consumer. You’re a creator. Creators play the long game.
🧠 THIS WEEK’S CHALLENGE
- Identify the ONE decision you’re tempted to make “in the moment.”
- Ask: Where will this lead me if I keep choosing this?
- Write down the compass answer — your higher choice, even if it’s harder.
